V1 Ready is operated by V1 Consulting Co. ("we," "us"). This policy explains what data the V1 Ready app collects and how we use it.
When you create a V1 Ready account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you use our AI Voice Interview feature, we temporarily process audio recordings of your answers to generate transcriptions and feedback. We also store your saved answers, notes, quiz scores, and flagged questions so you can pick up where you left off.
Your data is used solely to power the V1 Ready app: authenticating your account, delivering AI interview feedback, tracking your study progress, and syncing your library across devices. That's it.
We rely on a small number of trusted services to run V1 Ready:
These services process your data only as needed to provide their specific function. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
Audio recorded during AI Voice Interviews is sent to our backend API and on to OpenAI for transcription and evaluation. Recordings are processed in real time and are deleted from our servers immediately after your feedback is generated — we do not keep them. Under OpenAI's API terms, data sent through their API is not used to train their models.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
V1 Ready is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of V1 Ready after changes constitutes acceptance.
